Pour la première fois de son histoire, une Maserati entre au service du corps des carabiniers italiens. La star est le MCPURA, un coupé hautes performances qui arbore désormais la livrée institutionnelle conçue par le Centro Stile Maserati. A côté de lui, une Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio enrichit la flotte destinée à des missions médicales spéciales : le transport urgent d’organes et de sang.
La cérémonie s’est déroulée au siège d’Arma, en présence du commandant général, Salvatore Luongo, de la direction d’Arma et de Stellantis, représentée par le PDG, Antonio Filosa, et des dirigeants d’Alfa Romeo et de Maserati. Les deux véhicules, dotés d’équipements spécifiques, sont intégrés à la flotte opérationnelle pour des missions qui nécessitent rapidité, fiabilité et sécurité même dans des conditions critiques.
MCPURA : la technologie Maserati au service de la communauté
Le MCPURA représente l’évolution esthétique et technique de Maserati. Propulsé par le moteur biturbo Nettuno V6 de 630 ch, il utilise une technologie de préchambre dérivée de la compétition, déjà utilisée en Formule 1, et un châssis monocoque en fibre de carbone.

Il est capable de dépasser les 320 km/h et d’accélérer de 0 à 100 km/h en moins de 3 secondes. Parmi ses tâches, il sera utilisé pour atteindre les hôpitaux et les centres de transplantation en un minimum de temps, où chaque minute peut faire la différence.

Le modèle, produit à Modène, a été équipé d’un compartiment arrière réfrigéré pour le transport de conteneurs médicaux et d’un système d’éclairage et de son intégré au design original, préservant l’aérodynamisme. Malgré sa vocation sportive, l’intérieur a été adapté pour abriter des instruments de surveillance et de communication avec les centres médicaux opérationnels.

Giulia Quadrifoglio : un lien qui dure des décennies
Avec la supercar Modena, l’Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio perpétue une tradition qui accompagne les Carabiniers depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Le légendaire Quadrifoglio Verde, symbole des courses Alfa Romeo, revient dans la livrée bleue institutionnelle avec le classique V6 biturbo de 520 ch, la propulsion arrière et le différentiel mécanique à glissement limité.

Produite dans l’usine Stellantis de Cassino, la Giulia a été équipée d’équipements de signalisation et de communication d’urgence, ainsi que de systèmes de sécurité améliorés pour une utilisation opérationnelle. C’est une voiture qui allie la stabilité typique des berlines hautes performances avec la polyvalence nécessaire à un service qui exige continuité et fiabilité, même sur de longues distances.
Une longue relation entre Alfa Romeo et les forces de sécurité
La relation entre Alfa Romeo et les Carabiniers trouve ses racines dans les années cinquante. La première voiture de patrouille Biscione fut la 1900 M « Matta » en 1951, suivie un an plus tard par la berline 1900, considérée comme l’ancêtre des célèbres « Gazelles ». Depuis, la flotte Arma comprend des modèles devenus emblématiques : Giulia, Alfetta, 75, 155, 156 et 159, jusqu’à la génération actuelle de la Giulia Quadrifoglio.

La Maserati MCPURA représente donc une nouveauté absolue dans ce long voyage, signe de la volonté de Stellantis d’élargir sa collaboration en fournissant des véhicules technologiquement avancés également pour des missions de santé, et pas seulement d’ordre public.
Fonctionnalités et service, sans rhétorique
Au cours de la présentation, le général Luongo a souligné comment l’utilisation de véhicules de cette catégorie ne répond pas à une logique d’image, mais plutôt à des besoins opérationnels spécifiques, dans lesquels vitesse et sécurité deviennent des outils pour sauver des vies.
"Quand on parle de transport d’organes, « Chaque seconde compte, et disposer de véhicules fiables, c’est garantir un service plus efficace à la collectivité » a déclaré.
De son côté, Antonio Filosa, PDG de Stellantis, a souligné que l’initiative "allie excellence industrielle et responsabilité sociale". Le responsable a également souligné que les technologies développées pour la performance peuvent également trouver des applications utiles dans les secteurs civils et de la santé.
À une époque où les supercars sont souvent synonymes de luxe ou d’exclusivité, en voir une utilisée pour des missions d’utilité publique donne un autre sens au mot « performance » : non seulement la puissance, mais l’efficacité au service du bien commun.
